HA HA HA

Today my friend Steph told me about this blog (Seriously So Blessed) makes fun of all of us. It is completely fake, click on the link in purple on the top right corner to see what it is all about. It's pretty funny. She's making money...by making fun of anyone who has a blog. At least I am not using initials for our names or any abreviations. lol ;)

Dress Up with Aunt Becky

We went to Becky's house for our last night before school started to play with Andrew and Ashley. Derick took Wes and Andrew on a bike ride and so Becky asked Brooke if she wanted to play dress up. Brooke has never played dress up like this before. She loved it. Every minute of it.

We put her hair in sponge curlers, took her upstairs and put Becky's old make up on her (which she couldn't get enough of), changed her earrings for the first time to some dangling ones, put on this shirt of Becky's, and found some shoes. Oh and a necklace or two. In the end we thought she looked like an old lady with bad lipstick! Becky and I were laughing so hard and Seakabelle loved every minute. She kept asking if we loved her makeup.

Now everyday she asks if we can go back to Becky's house and dress up again.

Ariel

Brooke loves Ariel and loves to sing like her. All day everyday. She has the Ariel barbie and the Prince Eric boy, which she calls Prince Derick. She likes to make them dance. And she'll say, "You want thing-a-mabobs? I got 20."

First Day of School

What?! Wesley is in 1st grade. I can not believe it. Really? There is no way that he is old enough. I don't feel like it was 6 1/2 years ago that he was born. He is such a sweet boy, I love him to death and have loved having him home all day this summer. I am not ready for summer to be over and have him gone to school for a full day now that he is in first grade! What will I do? It's just Seaka and I. She will enjoy that (actually she kept asking where he was, bored and chasing after Roxy all day!).

This was the day before the first day of school when we got to go and meet his teacher, Mrs. Wheatley. Look how tall Wes is! They are both standing up and Wes is up to her chin!

Here we are, first day of school and he is ready to go. His desk is right next to Karson's, his best buddy! I wonder how this is going to work out. We warned his teacher...

This is where they check in everyday, by putting their name on what kind of lunch they are going to have, home or school lunch. Today Wes didn't want school lunch, it was pizza and he HATES pizza.

His class has desks. Lucky boy. The other 1st grade classes have tables. He likes the desks, I think if makes him feel more grown up. See the one just to the right of Wes, you can just see the corner of it, that is Karson's desk. Bad idea.

So to summarize his first day 2 days of school:

At recess on his first day Wes was stung by a wasp, 10 minutes after school started he and Karson were off to a great day of talking.

2nd day, his tooth fell out in class, and he and Karson were off to another fabulous day off talking, so when they came in from recess they found a surprise-Karson's desk had been moved.

Now they are both doing great!

Brian Regan Live "The Epitome of Hyperbole"

Dave's mom bought us all tickets to Brian Regan. Talk about EXCITED!!! I was thrilled. That was the best phone call ever. I love Brian Regan. Dave was a gentleman, if you can picture that. He hasn't opened my doors, pushed in my chairs, etc since we dated. He did it all again tonight. I was laughing at him. Poor Kay has hurt her knee and is having surgery on it and couldn't come with us tonight. I feel so bad for her, I know she was looking forward to it as much as we were. Thank you for dinner and the concert, we had a blast. It was a perfect night for Dave and I.

Here is Dave's twin Allison, and Holly peeking around her. We had to arrive an hour early to claim our spot. The time passed fairly quickly. We played with my camera, talked and people watched.

Holly's senior picture. She has been up for a day and a half, so she is looking her best. DON'T JUDGE HER!

Snake eyes...does he even know I was taking his picture?

Dave spent most of his time on his Blackberry texting his mom on hers, sending her pictures of everyone trying give her the experience at home.

Ahh, Josh looking into Kelsey's eyes. So sweet. Will we ever see Josh look like that again?

Our self portrait.

Holly's self portrait! Somehow this reminds me of a turtle.

Kelsey and Josh. Kelsey came straight from the airplane to the concert. (Holly took this picture, was she taking it of Josh and Kelsey, or the "bottoms up" lady in the back?)

Oh Holly, I like this one better...flirt with the camera.

Tracy wanted a better seat. She sat a little closer and a bit over to the side all by herself the whole time. She is in the green.

"Just Jack" or "Jazz Hands"

Not so sweet.

What is wrong with this hair? I just kept starring and couldn't figure it out.

He was the opening act, Kermit Apio (sp?). He was pretty funny too. He can be seen on Comedy Central.

So here is Brian Regan (http://www.brianregan.com/). He is my favorite comedian. I don't know if this clip worked or not from youtube. Anyway, he will be on Comedy Central on Sat, Sept. 6th at 10pm.

A Day at the Lake

We went to Jordanelle with Dave's family for the day. The kids had so much fun. I brought my book thinking I could read it. That didn't really happen. Roxy was afraid of the water, we were hoping that she would love it.

Wes and Brooke had fun sitting on the wave runners. Wes finally convinced Josh's friend Kelsey to take him on a ride because she was the only one that would only go 3 miles per hour! She let him be in control of steering and the gas. He loved it.

He now says that he knows how to drive a wave runner, a motorcycle, a speed scooter, and something else that I can't remember (I am sure he has told you if he has talked to you before).

Coltyn and Brooke hanging out (cousins).

Huge gusts of wind kept blowing out canopy up and we would have to jump up to hold it down. The rocks weren't working, so Brooke is here helping out. Wyatt is making sure the canopy won't take Brooke away with it!

Wyatt, Coltyn, and Brooke being splashed behind the wave runner. Brooke is just chillin' while Wyatt's freaking and Coltyn is waiting for a huge jump. I love Wyatt's face.

Breaking Dawn Night Out

AHH! This only took me about 6 times to try to upload my pictures. The blogspot website was having problems last time I tried. Anyway, here was our night...

My friends talked me into pre-buying my copy of Breaking Dawn at the local Funfinity bookstore and going with them on the release night to pick it up. It was fun. No waiting at the Barnes and Noble all night for our copies, I was home by 12:15 am! We also had some of the YW with us. We were early, so we went to Dairy Queen for some ice cream, went to get drinks at a gas station, and then some of the others ran through the sprinklers at the museum before it was time to get our books. I didn't run through them, my shirt would have been see-through! Good for me, I had a great excuse not too. What a good example for the YW too, we have the former YW president and a current YW counselor!

Jamey, Tausha, Katie, and I sitting outside Funfinity waiting for our books having fun taking pictures and playing around.

Jamey and I. So are you an Edward fan or a Jacob fan? As for me, I just read. But I would have to say that I would rather have cool breath to smell than hot 108.9 breath.

Tausha and I, me taking self portraits to pass the time. This one isn't too bad. Tausha has perfect teeth, doesn't she!

Katie and I, well, this self portrait I took didn't work out so well.

YW that came with us. They had a great time. Silly the entire night. They are all in 8th grade.

So this time I took 1 1/2 weeks to read the book instead of 1 day. I liked this book the best, except for the ending. It was the worst ending, I thought. It definitely was not a tween book like the others were. So there is my report without giving any information!
