Roxy

Roxy is a fun puppy. She is definitely a ton of work and patience. Which I am the first to admit, I don't always have. She has only had 3 accidents inside in 5 weeks, is that good? I think it's pretty good. She can finally hold it all night long!!! Yea!!! Roxy follows directions better from Brooke than from Wes. Brooke has no fear of her. In fact, she has no fear of any dog of any size, growling, barking, or anything. Which makes me a bit nervous. It will hurt her someday. She just grabs Roxy and starts to wrestle her and Roxy takes it.

She loves her kennel, a bit too much. She lays on her back and totally relaxes. I caught her attention and she started to flip over to look at me. Silly dog.

When we got out the vacuum it totally freaked her out and she wouldn't get off Dave's lap. It was funny. Then she slowly started to sniff it and jump back and forth at it like she wanted to attack, but didn't dare. Like the collar we tried for a couple of weeks? We didn't like the regular one we had at first so a lady talked us into this one and she still would strangle herself on it, so we are back to the one in the first picture.

How do you like Brooke's belly onesie? We are potty training her and so I snap it up to keep it out of the potty. I like this picture. So here she is. Growing like crazy. 3 weeks ago at her vaccinations, she was 15 pounds at 9 weeks. We take her again of Friday. I can't wait so see how much she weighs, she has doubles since Santa brought her on Christmas.

Ashley Pulham

Meet Ashley, Wes & Brooke's newest cousin. Becky, my sister went into labor on her due date! Who does that?! I think it is so cool. I was at the hospital with Becky and Derick (but in the hallway, giving my mom a play-by-play on the phone because she was in the airport in Alaska getting on the plane to come down here!). It was fun. I just stood in the hallway crying, knowing what my sister was feeling (doing it all natural) as she let the rest of us know how she was doing (in her own special way)! It only took about a minute for Ashley to be born. Then I got to go in. She was so beautiful and tiny. She was 6 lbs 15 oz and 18 1/5 inches long, with blond fuzz.

I took my kids over to see their new cousin, once I knew they were definitely healthy (I am very conscious about RSV or any illness for that matter around newborns), she is about 5 days old. I brought my camera just in case Becky wanted to take some pictures of Ashley. Just before we left she was awake, so we tried a couple. I like this picture just because she always had her hands in her face during the ultra sounds.

I think this one is sweet. She is just perfect. Everything on her is perfect. She is beautiful. I can stare at her for so long, she is so pretty.

Tiny feet! We had fun taking these pictures. My mom had this black material draped on her and then holding her and Becky kind of draped the material over her legs. It was fun. Becky especially likes her creases in her big toes.

I like this picture too, if you look at the first picture posted, she has big hands, but then you look at them with Becky's hands and they are so small. Babies are so precious and such a gift to us, what a responsibility...

I am 6 years old now

Today is Wes's 6th birthday! All he can say is "I am 6 year's old you know." He has been looking forward to this day for a long long time!
At school he was "king for the day" and got to bring treats for the class. He choose Ding Dongs. I am not sure why he picked them, I think we have only bought them once! He must have loved them!

After school, we met some of his cousins (and Gramea and Aunt Shirley came to surprise him!) at the Kangaroo Zoo to play for a couple of hours. It has blow up slides there.

He had so much fun, we couldn't get him to stop for a picture.

When we got home that night, we had cake and ice cream with our family and opened presents. He got this cool Hot Wheels track that has a dragon head that moves back and forth and the car has to knock off. It is pretty cool. He hates to be away from it.

Happy Birthday Wes!!!
