Brooke loves Ariel and loves to sing like her. All day everyday. She has the Ariel barbie and the Prince Eric boy, which she calls Prince Derick. She likes to make them dance. And she'll say, "You want thing-a-mabobs? I got 20."

I try to send emails to family all over the west coast to fill them in on the lives of my silly children (including Dave)! I am hoping this will take the place of all those emails. And for me to look back on to enjoy the kids when they were young and innocent.

Our Weekly Buttermilk Pancakes
1 cup flour
1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 extra-large egg, beaten
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 Tablespoons melted butter
Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add egg, buttermilk, and melted butter and mix just until combined.
Laddle onto lightly butter hot griddle. Flip when bubbles begin to pop (or bottoms are golden brown). Finish cooking and enjoy! Makes about nine 4-inch pancakes, this recipe doubles perfectly.
I don't add the extra butter in the batter. I also use whole wheat flour along with the white flour, or substitute all of it if you want!

She does that little head shaking thing that Andrew does when he sings too. I like that she calls him Prince Derick!

I love it! She's a little fire cracker. I have to show that one to Jason. He already thinks shes so dang funny and cute.
